	This Faure wood burning stove is a highly unusual example from the Art Nouveau period. The unusual styling is of an oriental feel hence the term "Mah Jong" style. This style is influenced by the French equivalent of the British aesthetic movement called "Symbolism" or "Decadence" from the very latter part of the 19th C. It is beautiful in a rich brown enamel, and has a fantastic motif that is continuous throughout the stove which is enamelled an all sides. The feet are also very nicely cast.	Year: 1920 >>> Form
